Dependent events in probability are events that are influenced by the outcome of one another. For instance, if you draw a card from a deck, the likelihood of what you’ll draw next changes based on what you pulled first. If you draw an Ace and don't replace it, there are now only 51 cards left, diminishing the odds for the next event. In real-world scenarios, think about drawing marbles from a bag. If you grab a blue marble and don’t put it back before drawing again, the total number of marbles and the number of blue ones available change, making the second draw dependent on the first. This illustrates how previous actions can affect future probabilities!
