Fractions, decimals, and percentages are all different ways to represent parts of a whole. When we talk about the fraction "two thirds," we mean that if something is divided into three equal parts, we are looking at two of those parts. To turn "two thirds" into a decimal, you simply divide 2 by 3, which gives you approximately 0.67. Now, to convert it to a percentage, you can take that decimal and multiply by 100. So, 0.67 times 100 equals about 67%. This means that two thirds is the same as saying you have 67 out of 100 parts of something! Fun, right? So, if your class is 30 students and you have two thirds, that would be 20 students, or 67% of your class!
