Beyond the Answer
In Franco's list, the numbers that are not even are the odd ones. Looking closely at the list \( 14, 22, 31, 50, 75, 86 \), we can see that \( 31 \) and \( 75 \) are the odd numbers that sneak in among the evens! It’s always a good idea to remember that even numbers are divisible by \( 2 \), so if you can’t split a number into two equal whole numbers, you’ve found an odd number. In this case, both \( 31 \) and \( 75 \) fail that test, making them the culprits!
